Leith Streetart

Leith streetart

Leith streetart

I saw these two bits of large scale streetart while walking about yesterday. I didn't have my camera or even my phone with me, so when I got home I went out again especially so I could get a picture before it starts raining and the paper starts peeling off. They're brilliant, aren't they?

There wasn't that much streetart in Rom, for such a large city, but some good bits.

Happy weekend all!

Best streetart ever

can we
shall we
one day very soon
let us go away
together
just you and me
call in sick
and go to
the sea
and hold hands
all day
eat our
sandwiches
on the train
get drunk
on fresh air
come home tired
and never
tell anyone
ever

On the pavement near our flat.

There wasn't that much, but some amazingly high quality stuff, including a whole doorway by the Irish Street Artist Karma. Karma's street art was all around the city, as seen on the London Street art blog. Also some Space invaders by the Parisian artist invader.

Trier streeatart roundup

merkel und momo

disco kid

queen of hearts

giant head

birdtalk

I'm still in Amsterdam today, which is a good opportunity for me to finally schedule a post with these pictures of streetart I found in Trier, Germany at Chrismas. The top two ones in particular are brill - they were whole electricity boxes spraypained in their entirety. The Angela Merkel one refers to the grey men in the novel Momo. And does anyone recognise the face on the side of the house? I'm sure i do, but I have no idea where from!
