Summer Capsule Wardrobe Challenge roundup

Ola chicas, I'm back from sunny Barcelona! We had a great time and I had a lovely birthday. But before I launch into any trip recounting (there will me MUCH of that soon, don't worry), here's my round up of the capsule wardrobe challenge. Just as a wee reminder, this challenge was five items over five days and here's my five outfits.

To be honest, I'm not that happy with it. Given how easy I found this, I feel I should have come up with things that were much more interesting. I mean, I had unlimited accessories and then I went and hardly accessorized at all! The only one I'm really happy with is day 2. But then, in my defence that week was part of the most stressful month of my working life so far, and I'm pleased I even managed to actually do the challenge and find the time to take pictures!

Still catching up one everybody else's challenge outfits!

They all look great - I was so busy too. I did manage to do it but only got 3 photos of my looks created.

Hey, come on! I think you did a very good job of wearing both the dark bluse dress and the wee flowery blouse each in two comepletely different ways. You look lovely, as usual. Also, in the set in general you look pretty bright, pretty varied, and quite yourself, which is even more of an achievement given the under-accessorisation!
Um, BTW, I commented a while ago as "anonymous" (hadn't worked out yet how to put my name there, oops & sorry!)on your post asking for recommendations for your long brownish flouncy skirt that was a present from Dave. Did you ever end up trying it out with any of the jewel tones I suggested? Or other's sugestions? I was just wondering if you did get any more wear from it after that post. Birthday Congratulations to you, too. Thanks for all the inspiration and food for thought.

Hi Jessica, I did actually, just never magaged to get a photo! sorry. I should wear it again, though I need to lose the couple of kilos I put on recently first. It was tight then, so I imagine it will be unbearably so now!

I like them all. I too forget to accessorize when stressed.
